Hey guys...

First of all Belated Merry Christmas!

I have a SanDisk micro sd 32G, this is the first time I'll be using this for my Note 2.
Can I transfer files from my Note 2 to the microsd directly from my Note 2 or do I need to plug my Note 2 on my Laptop or I can do it on Kies Air?

Thanks!

You can do it directly. You the built in file manager, My Files. Here you can copy or move from the internal storage to the SD card.

Sorry, file manager???

Yes, either the My Files, as mentioned, or you can download one for free from the play store. I use ES File Explorer (love it but it started crashing the past couple days) or Astro, etc.

You can copy or move files between the phone and card, rename, delete, search, etc.

So... I inserted my microsd and when I opened the file, there are already a few folders in my microsd: Android folder, Lost.Dir folder, and an .android_secure folder.

Can these be deleted or I need them?

Leave them. I just inserted an sd card and saw the same. Some of the apps store bits of info there and do not take much room.

Those directories were created when you insterted the card and it was automatically formated.

Note sure why they are there because I never see anything in them.
