This phone definetly needs root. Silly wifi reminders and no universal search is a no go for me. I searched and only found Windows methods to root. Also what is Odin?

Yep.. did the one touch 4 reboot batch file for root then 1 click unlock from the market.. These 2 processes have never been so easy. I envision money flying towards these folks way very soon.

Personally im sticking to Stock for the moment since its a far dreadful cry better than my old OG Droid . I'll probably end up doing the bloat freezing via this guide:

Best of luck w/ the phone, its far superior to anything that has been released to date. I bought it 1 week ago today and I massively enjoy it.

Yea I love it way faster than my Gnex and a lot better battery life. I'm read that the CM10 nightlies were having issues so I'm using Clean rom which is really smooth no issues so far and I haven't even had one force close yet. It's crazy how this phone was a lot easier than my Galaxy Nexus to root and unlock.

OMG.. a force close.. i remember those

Like i said.. I came off a OG Droid.. so imagine my suffering. Never tried a cleanrom. Heard about it, will have to look into it. I'm still doing the honeymoon period with the phone before I start to get brazen w/ re-flashing.

Yeah CleanRom Has been flawless for me as well.I expect CM10 will progress quickly though ;)
Actually I thought both the S3 and GNexus where equally EZ to root and unlock :)
