Just bought Rezound...what the hell is up with my GMAIL

Just got my Rezound yesterday and when I added my Gmail account today I have a huge inbox with a ton of emails and none of my labels or folders and obviously none of my email is in said folders. What am I doing wrong here...kind of hoped and thought this would be pretty seamless since it is Google but alas.

P.S this is my first smart phone so be kind to the newbie.

Well I guess I am a pro newb as I just figured out I have two mail links on my screens and the one I set up was no the "Gmail" specific link so I deleted the old one and installed it under gmail and bam there are all my folders and old archived emails.

how did you delete it i was going to delete mind to but it said i had to set phone back to factor default and i would loose all data

Sorry, I should have been more clear....I deleted the account associated with that particular button and buried it on a screen that I don't use so I won't be tempted to access it and moved my Gmail one to the front screen. I did not even try to delete the actual button link.

Were you referring to actually deleting the button itself?
