Just bought the Samsung S6 Active and it won't connect to the wifi at my house??

I've tried everything to connect to the wifi, restarting it and several other things and it still won't connect

Welcome to Android Central! Tell us what exactly happens when you try to connect. Does the phone's wi-fi turn on at all? When it's on, do you see your network's SSID show up? When you select the SSID, does it ask for the password? What happens after entering the password?
