Just cracked my lens on my Galaxy S7, change to Pixel or fix lens?

In a real dilemma here. I just cracked my lens of my Galaxy S7 camera casually walking into a table. My wife has the Note 4. Thinking this could be a dumb excuse to upgrade to the newest Pixel 2 (for me) and Pixel 2 XL (for my wife)?

Is the upgrade worth it to most people? I use aux in my car, but I read the phones comes with an adapter? Would my S7 ever be the same even if I try to fix the lense? (For reference, it straight up cracked, not just one single crack through, buster a hole in the middle - have tape over it now.)

It's entirely your call, but with cars for example, once you crash one, it's damaged good, never like it was when new...
Lot of ppl replace as they feel it's jinxed.
If you're keen on the pixel this seems like a good opportunity...
