What should I know about this tablet like
1.should I have a screen protector and if I need one which one works best with the stylus.
2. Should I buy the Samsung book cover for this or is there a cheaper one that works just as well
3. Any apps I should grab

Bought the book cover, yes there's cheaper ones but it is sturdy. No screen protector for me,.

A screen protector may not important, but when that scratch is discovered...

As for applications, what is your main use going to be and then go from there.

I have the book cover and I love it. Got mine on Amazon with no regrets. Love my Note 10.1.
I don't have a screen protector as I don't believer in them. My own personal preference. I've never seen the need.
