I called my local Sprint store this morning and they informed me that they got a shipment in today. So I first went to Sam's Club, returned my Note 7, and then went to Sprint to get the V20. So far, I am loving it, but am in the beginning stages of setting it up/ downloading apps. Just thought I'd share in case others were on Sprint and were planning on waiting until Friday the 28th (the "official" release date for Sprint).

Is your sprint version also missing many of the stock LG apps including gallery messaging calendar email calculator music?

Just got mine as well and yes its missing all of the stock LG apps too. It's probably the only think I dislike about the phone besides the crappy keyboard.

$50 or so for taxes and $33 a month. I got the $200 trade in for a iPhone 4s plus the waived activation and $25 credit from Samsung. The salesmen told me I would get 100 for the Samsung credit, but we'll see.

This is strange you don't see this on other carriers models. Is there a way to install the missing suite of lg apps?

Is the issue with the missing apps I my on Sprint or do the other carriers have this same issue?

Would it be possible to get an apk ie gallery from another model and install it on the sprint version. File Explorer and drive is all one would need.

This really sucks! Do you all think it was just a screw up by Sprint and possibly add them in an update?

I sure hope so also I need to ask if yours came with a screen protector pre-installed. Look closely.

The apps are all there, they are simply the Google version and not the home cooked LG ones.

How long have you been with sprint?

No "the" apps should be lg stock apps they work best with lg devices. Every other V20 has them except for the sprint version. I'd rather have the apps built specifically for the V20 than apps made for any device.

I do not have the stock LG apps either, really annoying. I spent an hour looking for them before giving up. Also, mine did not come with a screen protector.

I really hope so. I hate using the Google calendar, messaging, and photo apps. And yes, I know I can download third party, but usually just prefer to use the default manufacturer ones.

I'm going to try and reach out to lg but it's difficult getting in touch with someone who actually has an idea of what is going on. Most reps are nothing more than social media personal and haven't a clue about anything other than the default answers they are given to say when asked a question.
