Just got my Sprint EVO View today and already have small scratches on the screen. Not sure if I created the scratches or if they were there when I purchased. The scratches are not very noticeable but there.
I immediately put screen protector on it after noticing the scratches.

Interestingly I have never had screen protectors on my Sprint EVO 4G (10 months) or Galaxy Tab (6 months) and neither one has any scratches on the screen.

Anyway I am thoroughly enjoying the View I will simply have to protect it better.

Moral: protect the screen on the View from day one.

According to Corning's website, the Evo 4G and Galaxy Tab are equipped with Gorilla Glass. The Flyer and Evo View are conspicuously absent from the list of products with Gorilla Glass, which is unfortunate given that this product more than others is meant to be poked and prodded with solid, pointy objects.

Just in case this helps someone out there - I have found the Sprint branded Galaxy Tab screen protectors work very well on the EVO View. These are sold in the Sprint store.

It does not hamper the touchscreen sensitivity at all and it does not impede the pen input at all. It is also anti-glare and really slick to the touch so no friction.

I did have to trim it down some on the bottom edge.

Now I have peace of mind without hampering the features that make the View so special.
