Just got my g3

Long time Motorola user coming from a Droid Bionic (such an underrated phone for it's time) followed by a Droid RAZR m, which was a very solid device as well. I used tons of custom roms with the bionic, but my RAZR m was updated past the point where I could unlock the boot loader when I acquired it, so modding was a no go there. As for this g3, it came with the 12b update, which I've read can't be rooted, but can be worked around by reverting to an earlier software version. I love the stock rom so far, but that's because it's all still new to me. Are there any custom rooms worth going through the process for, or should I just stay on track for lollipop?
