Just got my new G4 :)

Went today and swapped out my T-Mobile S6 for the brown leather backed G4.
Pretty excited. Hoping to like this phone and that it will keep me from going back to the iPhone.

Does anyone have any advice or tips and tricks for me to start with?

I've had a S6 Edge since it was first introduced but have been thinking of getting the G4 for a few weeks now ?? Let us know how you feel about it and if the switch was worth it ?! TIA

Install the Sense 7 port from xpirt to have the best Android UI

My only advice is to start off slowly with apps. Just use what you need until you're used to the phone. You made a great choice! Enjoy!

I had the S6 for a whole 7 days and could not take it back fast enough.

I had the G4 since the 2nd day it was available from Verizon.

You could not give me a S6 after using the G4, better camera (IMHO), just as fast. Great display, especially outside in sunlight where it counts and clear voices on calls and no.. notta... Zip...zero dropped calls.
It also goes about 30 hours on a charge for me, maybe a little less after the 5.1 update last week. I'm hoping LG is on that but no complaints at all.

The final straw was the horrible battery life. Barely 2 hours of screen on time. Unacceptable.
