just got my xoom!

so, i just got mine a few hours ago, and cant really do anything to it at the moment cause i dont have a wifi connection yet, but about to get the OTG tomorrow... so what would you guys do as the first thing to your xoom?

If you're looking for something to do in the meantime before getting a connection there isn't much without downloading.

If you are up and running though I highly recommend getting these apps to start out on the Xoom:

1)Thumb Keyboard, Swiftkey Tablet X or any split keyboard. I know the concept is a little different, but trust me when I say it quickly becomes your best friend

2)Also I highly recommend the Amazon Appstore. (via amazon.com not market)

3) Filemanager HD is great for all your file fiddling needs.

so i see that supposedly you can upgrade via sd slot, but i cant get mine to do it... any suggestions ?

and should be able to dl them to the pc and transfer to the sd and put the apps on there that way or not so much?

I'd sign up for the Swype beta. I have about 5 keyboard options and this is my go to.

I started using the chrome browser on my desktop and syncing my bookmarks with the stock Xoom browser.

Dropbox is also a great way to get files onto your Xoom.
