Best Buy deal, 20-something/month for 24 months. With Verizon unlimited, which is what I already had. So was time to upgrade the aging Note 4.
First, the cons:
The screen ration 18:9 is weird. 16:9 is a lot better.
The curved screen edge is bizarre, adds nothing. I like the conventional look better.
Seems like a gimmick, much like the stretched-out, 18:9 ratio. The screen does not feel like 6.2". It really needs to maintain the same height but with a bit more width.
Battery life is abysmal. I am used to the extra capacity of the ZeroLemon batteries.
It is slippery like a piece of ice the size of 2 credit cards.
Now the Pros:
The screen is kick-butt. The resolution is higher than the Note 4 I had. The PPI is very nice (check out isthisretina.com)
It's very fast. Responsive. I jumped ahead 4 generations it seems.
I am definitely going to get the ZeroLemon contraption for it, the 8500 mAh extended battery, not just to gain runtime but to add some depth to it. It's almost a certainty I will drop it at one point if I don't add thickness.
