top right corner of the verizon s7 edge, looks like 4 different colors, about 8 dead pixels
called verizon i have to ship to samsung for them to repair it in 9-11 days including transit time
didnt want to do a refurbished from verizon
sucks

now that i think about it, i gotta get a box, go to UPS, ship it, probably wait longer then 9-11 days and go back to my s5......maybe i should just do the certified like new one???? UGH!
 
Did you try the app Dead Pixel Detect and Fix? Worth a shot, sometimes they just get stuck...

By the way, is there anyway to view the attached pics on Chrome for Android? It's driving me mad!
 
Did Verizon confirm that it would be a refurbished or Certified phone? This phone is still very new I doubt they would be able to replace it with anything other than brand new.

Tried the dead pixel app it didn't work. Verizon confirmed it would be a certified pre-owned... Their words were "it would probably just be someone that didn't like their phone in that 14 day period"... Brutal

Can't you just return the phone?
 
I got a few dead pixels on my screen and it's been 20 days but they told me I got 30 days to exchange it since it's DOA. the only problem it's out of stock everywhere and I can't get an exchange anywhere.

I'm not sure where you bought your phone from but I got mine from telus in Canada. Basically it's 15 days to return or exchange and 30 days if the device is defective. Since I couldn't find one in stock, they offered to send me one even after the 30 day mark. I've been talking to customer service every other day and they finally found a solution.
