I've been closely following the GN3 since IFA and have been getting pretty excited about this device. When I received my preorder from Verizon yesterday, I simply removed Verizon's pre-mounted SIM card, inserted my old Galaxy Nexus SIM card (instantly activated after booting), and my Sandisk Extreme 32GB micro SD card, and WOW. This phone is even FAR BETTER than I was anticipating. Everything works so well.
From what I'm used to, the battery life is excellent. Went from 59% to 15% with just over 3.5 hrs screen time (on WiFi). And that's with fairly heavy usage (downloading, setting up, and signing into all my apps while listening to music through the headphones, catching up on emails, etc.). I have the screen brightness set to about 30% on Standard mode and it still looks absolutely incredible (and plenty bright for me).
And get this, I'm coming from mostly stock Android and Nova Launcher, and I have to admit, I'm actually really liking Touchwiz. Never thought I'd every say that.
And the S Pen. Wow, don't even get me started on this. It's FANTASTIC (especially since I can write a lot faster than I can type).
Anyway, just a few random thoughts on my GN3. Guess I'm done gushing over this thing for now.
