I've been closely following the GN3 since IFA and have been getting pretty excited about this device. When I received my preorder from Verizon yesterday, I simply removed Verizon's pre-mounted SIM card, inserted my old Galaxy Nexus SIM card (instantly activated after booting), and my Sandisk Extreme 32GB micro SD card, and WOW. This phone is even FAR BETTER than I was anticipating. Everything works so well.

From what I'm used to, the battery life is excellent. Went from 59% to 15% with just over 3.5 hrs screen time (on WiFi). And that's with fairly heavy usage (downloading, setting up, and signing into all my apps while listening to music through the headphones, catching up on emails, etc.). I have the screen brightness set to about 30% on Standard mode and it still looks absolutely incredible (and plenty bright for me).

And get this, I'm coming from mostly stock Android and Nova Launcher, and I have to admit, I'm actually really liking Touchwiz. Never thought I'd every say that.

And the S Pen. Wow, don't even get me started on this. It's FANTASTIC (especially since I can write a lot faster than I can type).

Anyway, just a few random thoughts on my GN3. Guess I'm done gushing over this thing for now.

Best Phone so Far!!

Sent from my Sexy Galaxy Note 3

Best phone I've ever had and I've had all the iphones and recently S4.

One thing is for sure..I will only ever get the note phones now. Once I got this huge screen I can't ever go smaller.

I agree.....size matters. I could never go smaller.

Yes, that's another thing, the phone size. After a few minutes use, it just doesn't feel that big at all, and it's still easy to pocket.

Definitely can agree with everyone. Really enjoying mine so far. Love the size, and like said, can't see myself going to anything smaller. I'm really digging this stock keyboard also.

The Galaxy Note 3 is AWESOME!

Love the size of the screen and all the features.

I find myself reading a lot more on the GN3 because of the flip board. I customized the board and there are not enough hours in the day..... I thought something was wrong with my battery until I though back on how I had used it.

I was down to 20% and confused until I realized I had been streaming music and videos for 5-6 hrs and reading for another 2-3 hrs and picking it up to tweak it each time I thought of something or just to wanted to explore.

My Precious!

Awesome phone? Yes, Yes It Is!

When my phone arrived, like everybody else, I spent the first hour or two or three setting it up.

Then, I picked my Motorola AtrixHD that it replaced to set it up as a Wifi only gaming device for my 8 year old.

That phone, case and all, never felt smaller. Almost instantly, if three hours is an instant, it felt like an old antiquated phone from 2006. 🍻
