Just looking for opinions on Bluetooth Earbuds for phone use

Hi.

I am not an audiophile. I very rarely listen to music on my phone. By "rarely listen" I mean "hardly ever."

Because of my job, I am on my phone often. Well, long story short, my phone is having problems with the proximity sensor, which means that when I'm holding the phone up to my ear and then take it away from my ear, it doesn't recognize that it's away from my ear. So, I'm just looking into BT as a solution to use for phone calls.

I was told to check out SoundPEATS and I was looking into the SoundPEATS Q900.

I'm not familiar with SoundPEATS but they look like they get good reviews and like I said, I'm just using it primarily for phone calls.

I also saw a deal on the LG HBS-750

I'm looking for the "on the neck" solutions because I can then take the earbuds out of my ears when not talking on the phone.

I'm just looking for opinions.

Thank you :)

I have the LG Tone Pro HBS-750 -- they're excellent. Great sound quality, excellent battery life. I've made calls on them before, and I think the sound quality is fine (although I've never asked the person on the other end how I sound).

Regarding your proximity sensor -- do you have a screen protector or a poorly-fitting case on?

Thank you for the response. I'm going back and forth between the LG and the SoundPEATS. The SoundPEATS look like I wouldn't have to fumble around to find the "answer" or "multi-fuction" button to answer calls. The LG looks like you'll have do develop a muscle memory to know where the buttons are located.

No. There's no screen protector or bad fitting case. I do know what the cause is of the issue. It's a long story and not necessary to get into on this thread. :D
