Just Now Received 5.0 Update

I just received an update to 5.0 for my Note 3. Hadn't received any updates in a very long time and was surprised to see this. Read through some comments and it seems the update was back in 2015. Also looks like people had issues with their Note 3 after they updated. Based on the update message, this one can't be rolled back either. I would like some feedback from those of you who updated to 5.0 to know how the update worked on your phones. If I don't want to do the update, will it let me keep bypassing it or will it automatically download at some point? Thanks.
