Hey guys, Just ordered..or should i say preordered.. my first android phone the droid RAZR. Pretty pumped and i cant wait for the release. This is going to be my first android phone, ive had a few of the older iphones (up to the 3gs.) then i got my blackberry torch that im still currently using. I liked the iphones a lot when they came out, but they got boring looking at the same screens and icons everyday also you couldnt do much with them, thats why im not going with the 4/4s.
I have ATT right now as a carrier and my contract is up nov. 4th, so im going to verizon. My problem is that the razr doesnt look like its coming out till the 10th, so i might be without a phone for almost a week unless the razr drops early... back to the pre-cell phone days for a bit. Not a huge deal for me im not 100% reliant on my smartphone like everyone else in the country. It will just make when my razr finally comes in that much sweeter. Ive wanted a droid for a while now, but there were a few things holding me back, first one being my contract with att duhh, the other was the battery life on droids, all of my friends with droids always have theirs plugged in or asking me to use my car charger. But im hoping with the razr i should be able to get thru a full day without any problem. I fell in love with this phone after i saw the first video of that NYC event.
One more thing... i have an unlimited data plan with ATT and now im stuck with verizons tiered plan... i checked my data usage and the most ive ever used was around 900 mbs in a month. im hoping i dont go over the 2gigs withe droid.
