Can't say it was a smooth process at first. I'm on the east coast and dodged hurricane winds to get this tablet early this morning. It seems that they're a lot of confusion about selling the 32GB n7. Yes Google cancel the event but that doesn't mean you can't sell it. After all today is the 29th. The customer service girl was confused. The manager was also confused. She Had to get a district manager on the phone to confirm it and he also sounded confused. Staples never received a display to advertise it so they don't think it should be sold until further noticed. They finally went in the warehouse and pull one out and I asked them to scan it to see if its for $249. It was and after a group huddle with with the manager and district manager, they said I can walk out with it and I did. Charging it up right now. No work today. Just me and my N7 hoping the power doesn't go out today.

I got one from Office Depot. No problem at all. They already had a tag on the shelf; although, the 16gb tag right next to it also said $249. The store I went to only had 2 of the 32gb in stock.

i also grabbed one this morning at staples :) here in NYC, brooklyn store. They weren't sure if they could sell it, i said it is the 29th . They checked some emails said well we didn't get a notice not to sell and it did say the 29th so i got one! Its windy cold, and nasty out I was the only one in the store i feel bad they made them work as its going to be a mess when they leave for the day...

I'm about to drive 5 minutes down the street to Office Depot to grab mine!!! I asked the guy if I should have him hold it, but he said they have plenty....can't wait!!! :-D

I have had my 32gb for a week. I an ready down to only 17gb free. So glad I got the 32gb.

No you aren't. You don't need that much storage. Just ask someone who bought the 8 or 16GB

I bought the 8gb and am extremely jealous of the 32gb.. I just want to put all my music on the damn thing, and yes I do have all my music on google play. But making playlists on google play is horrible (the syncing sucks and making the playlists is very tedious), and I haven't found any ways to import my M3Us to google play, so I just never use it anymore. Even though I spent days organizing my music collection, updating my album art and tags just so I can get everything perfect so I can upload my collection to google play music..

Well that was back in July, I would use it all the time on my Nexus 7. But then I stopped when I figured out I can easily just import M3U playlist files to my phone and the playlists will work exactly as they do on my desktop. Since figuring this out in August, I don't think I've used play music once..

Google hasn't updated play music with any useful features in months! I love Google but if they really want people to switch over to cloud storage, they need to fix something that many people listen to every day.

Sorry for the rant, but one of the main reasons that I bought the 8gb version was because of google play music.

I have a 16GB and it doesn't bother me that someone has a 32GB. In fact, it doesn't affect me in the slightest.

The whining from the perpetual whiners about how Google owes them something, to compensate for their sexual inadequacy, well that gets pretty annoying after a while.

Nexus 7 32GB is also at walmart now for $249. But the playstore got it for $299 tho.

Just left Sam's Club wih a smile on my face and a Nexus 7 32GB in my hand. They had lots of them ($249.87), but none of the 16 GB ($199) which are only available through online ordering. (2-3 day delivery).

Damn Sandy preventing me from getting a new N7!

Yeah same. I didn't notice that they'd released the nexii anyway until after I got home from school. I couldn't justify going back out to get one in the storm... I'll just wait till Wednesday

Picked up one this way and they didn't even know they had them in the store but they did hunt me one down..

Did the same this morning at the Staples, Owings Mills, MD! No problem, though; the manager was aware of the device, quickly retrieved it, and wished me well - on a really miserable morning!

It replaced a 16gb Nexus returned to New Egg. Rooted, Titanium backup restored, up and running, w/o incident!

Got mine at Staples in Branson Mo.. $249.99. Got mine at 10an, and they had 19 more left on the shelf. Said they started out with 24.

Called my local staples today, they said they had them in stock. When I got there the whole display was torn down and there were no prices or anything. So I ended up just getting a 16gb from Walmart but they charged me 249 for it so I am going to go get it adjusted tomorrow because their website shows it as 199 and I can do a price match
