Reading up on the information referenced above is the best thing to do before diving into your device with root access. I also can't stress enough the need to keep the phone or data backed up if you plan on doing some serious tweaking of the system. You want to restore as efficiently as possible.

No offense but,.............ok here it comes: Shouldn't that be a prerequisite to rooting? Know all the benefits as well as the pitfalls of rooting. Know that something can and will go wrong and be prepared and have a plan when it does.

Ahhh..... the good ol' days. Remember when a penthouse mag or playboy was the only "prerequisite"??? Give the person credit to coming to the "dark side"... and not mucking things up in the process![]()
That's putting the cart before the horse. Figure out why and then root rather than trying to find the problem after finding the solution.I just rooted my TB and I'd like to know what I can do with it.
