I picked up the fold 5 a few weeks ago, but a day later, I decided to return it as I couldn't get used to the outside screen size

So far I am loving the z flip very sturdy devices all around.

Yep the Flips are tougher and more premium feeling than you'd expect from such a thin, fragile looking phone. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'm still learning to appreciate Samsung's software, but there's no doubting the quality of their hardware

After trying it for a week I decided to return it. I ended up buying a refurbished iPhone 13 pro from apple great deal.

Hopefully it's not like the Flip 4. After 6 months of use, the screen protector started to separate on the hinge part and it was replaced twice and kept on separating. We traded it in for an S23U.

Did you use the Samsung screen protector as a replacement or an aftermarket one? I've seen some of the aftermarkets that wouldn't stick on for any length of time at all... pretty much useless. I don't know what brands they were, but pretty sure they were Amazon no name cheapies

You need a good brand replacement, either Samsung or something else good that's applied correctly

I went to uBreakFix because it's under warranty. They showed me they're using Samsung Flip4 protectors.

I was just looking at the Flip 5 in videos and thinking it's a really nice little phone and maybe I'd replace my iPhone 11 as my running phone with a Flip 5 if they had a good deal on Samsung.

I'm a duel wielder rocking the S23U daily and iPhone for other duties. But I wouldn't dual wielding Androids in this case.

Still have my S22U put away waiting for some deal... like $1000 trade-in on the N24U... or maybe if Samsung.com has some deal for it for the Flip.

Or maybe... dual wield the iPhone 15 Pro since they will have periscope zoom lenses and the Flip 5

I doubt the screen protector will hold up any better then previous models. I had the fold 2,3, and 4 and every one of them had screen protectors replaced due to bubbling in middle, couple of them had hinge issues one fixed and one Samsung said normal wear and tear so not fixed.
