And I didn't hate it. It's a little strange that you still need to swipe up on the lockscreen to officially unlock the phone; but this helps ward off against accidental unlocking. I imagine it'll be handy for when I'm in a hurry and may not have a steady finger on my screen.
I do like that Samsung allows you to "show yourself" with your glasses on and also with them off so as to get a clearer picture of your likeness while setting up Face Unlock. I wear glasses about 70% of the time (depending on the day), so I'm happy that my phone will recognize my face, with or without glasses.
In any case, I'll try it out for a little while, along with my in-display fingerprint sensor, to see how I like it. I still prefer fingerprint scanners/in-display fingerprint readers, but if the future of smartphone biometric tech is Face Unlock, I guess I want to be able to use it in case it's all that's left after a while!
