K-9 Mail on Thunderbolt.

My phone recently updated k-9 mail to whatever the newest version is. Since then, for three straight days, I get a screen that says "Upgrading databases". It goes on and on and on and never finishes. I've restarted the phone, including first removing battery, but when I re-open K-9 it just returns to the 'Updating' screen.
I can't find a way to introduce a thread in the K-9 forum, for some reason, so hopefully someone here can suggest something. Also, is there a way to directly contact the developers of K-9?

Have you tried going into Settings>Apps>Manage Apps and find K-9 Email app and then clear cache/data on the app? You can even uninstall the latest update from there too and try it over again.

As far as contacting the developer there is usually contact info from the Google Play Store when you pull up the App in question. Sometimes under one of the sub menus in the app itself, usually HELP it will have an email address or link to the developer.
