Keep display on with full brightness at all times?

Personal quirk, but it drives me crazy to notice the display automatically dimming and then taking a split second to come on to full brightness when I look down at my wrist.
Is there any setting I'm missing to enable full on all the time?

I don't believe so and you wouldn't make it half a day with the display on full brightness all the time.
