Keep finding scratches on the silver band?

It's it possible to keep the note from scratching around the sides? Are you guys getting these small scratches on the silver band of your note? I'm not careless and I've never dropped the phone. It's always in my hands or in my pocket by itself.

I have had mine in a Spigen case since I bought it 5 months ago. I received my Gear Vr last week and when I took my Note 4 out of the case I noticed exactly the same thing. I have no idea why it has marked the aluminium bezel, however I managed to get rid of the scratches using a soft cloth and some jewellery Polish. It took many goes to get the scratches out but it did work. Try to avoid any polish that is highly abrasive and just take your time.

Practically impossible to stop the silver rim being scratched! as it's scratches or markes no matter what you do.

I've had my Note 4 since Launch day. I only rocked naked for a week. However, I used a lot if slim fit cases TPU and Non TPU. The frame will get scratched but little scratches you'll get over and can be removed. Recently I tried an aluminum bumper case that really gouged the phone. See before and after photos attached. I used aluminum polish and it got rid of everything but the major gouges. My phone looks close to new. It should be great for typical scratches. Use a qtip and just to be careful avoid the painted sides and getting in the gap between the screen and the metal frame.

Same problem here. My Note 4 is always in a tpu case and still scratches.
I will try the turtle wax also.

Not that it will avoid scratching but its a good idea to take your phone out of the case every once in a while to clean it out. Some of you are probably leaving it in the for weeks and worse, months so I'm not surprised considering how much abrasive dust can collect in there. It doesn't necessarily take weeks to scratch but it doesn't hurt to do some cleaning once in a while.

The chamfered edge looks nice but is a bad idea for durability.
