Keeping phone case on while using Gear VR

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing the latest Gear VR , the R-322 one. And I was just wondering, if any of you was able to use a phone case on while the phone is strapped in the VR? Even the slimmest one? I have a slim neo-hybrid spigen case btw on my S6 Edge. Thanks!

No case will work. The VR has just enough space to allow the phone in, and nothing else.

Plus the phones heat up pretty good too in the vr. You don't need to prevent heat escaping with a case.
