Keeping Unlimited - Basic Line to Smartphone

The verizon account looks like this:

• Basic Line
• Basic Line
• Unlimited Smartphone Line
• Unlimited Smartphone Line
• Unlimited Smartphone Line
• All are available for upgrades.

Now, I have one of the Unlimited lines, and my brothers have the others. My parents have been on the basic line for way too long and wish to finally upgrade to smartphones. Since our verizon plan is NOT on a tiered data plan or shared data plan yet, will I lose my unlimited data when they upgrade their basic lines?

I believe they will be forced to choose a tiered data plan, in which case I will be knocked out of my unlimited.

How can I keep unlimited?

The basic lines will be moved to tiered data(starting at $30/2gb). The unlimited data plan on your other lines would be unaffected
