Kenwood DMX7017BTS freezes on Android Auto

I had my Kenwood unit installed back in September 2017 it gave lot of trouble as it's usually freezing on Android Auto I tried different cable and different phones including Galaxy S5 Sony Xperia z5 Huawei P8. Anyway but story short I convinced my retailer to give me replacement and it worked until recently I moved to note8 and the same problem came back I am using stock cable. Today I even updated it to latest firmware but no luck.

I am hoping that this time it could be just a config or I may need to disable something in my phone to make it work. If any of you have such experience please share. Thanks

Same thing on my JVC kwv830bt that I had Visions install in my 2011 Tahoe today. Works fine until I plug my BlackBerry KeyONE in. I can ask google to take me home; works at first and then freezes a few seconds later.
