Kepard VPN Issues?

Anyone running Kepard VPN? I'm having problems establishing connection... usually requires rebooting. Every time... Kepard says 4.4.2 KK is " having problems ".

The customer service from my VPN provider told me that KK 4.4.2 has a bug that will not allow private VPNs to work
Anyone heard this?
