The following kernels will be tested over an un-designated amount of time. Please check back periodically or when there is a bump for results and other information.

Radio- EVO_Radio_2.15.00.09.01
WiMiax- EVO_WiMax_26023_R01
ROM- Vaelpak v2.2-HTX11-3.29.651.5

Kernel: KingxKernel-Evo-8-BFS318-2.6.32.15

Quadrant: 1678
Linepack: 38.473
setCPU parameters: 1267min-1267max; performance
battery temp: 109

Kernel seems to be a but unstable. All tests were run at 1267. Daily use was 1190 for battery conservation and temperature. Force close issues experienced with some apps including Quadrant. Quadrant FC caused phone to reboot. Phone lags, some apps are sluggish to responsed with.

With Myn's Warm twopointtwo Kings #9 BFS seems to work the best and be the most stable.

Linepack: 40.131
Quadrant: 1627
setCPU: 1267max-min; performance

Radio- EVO_Radio_2.15.00.09.01
WiMiax- EVO_WiMax_26023_R01
ROM- Vaelpak v2.2-HTX11-3.29.651.5

Quadrant and Linepack numbers are best out of ten tests.

Kernel: netarchy-toastmod-4.1.9.1-havs-dc-compatible-signed.zip
Quadrant: 1725
Linepack: 38.74
setCPU parameters: 1267min-1267max; performance

Phone holds strong with this kernel. Good battery life, good processing speed, phone is responsive, best performing so far.

ROM: Myn's twopointtwo RLS2 with Launcher Pro Plus
Kernel: netarchy-toastmod-4.1.8-bfs-bfq-dc-compatible-signed.zip
Quadrant: 1727
Linepack: 40.343
setCPU parameters: 1267min-1267max; performance

What would be nice is if we could tell what parameters the kernels run for voltage, I'm not sure what or were we can find that info. Not every phone can under volt as well as the next being able to change it with your favorite kernel would be excellent! Anyone?
Evo Benchers! check out this link

So what I've noticed so far is that each kernel Overclocked and underclocked interacts with the ROMs differently. This is completely obvious. The thing that might not be so obvious is the fact that some of these kernels don't respond with the ROM all the time. Some benchmark tests resulted in an almost 400 point drop in quadrant performance. Although they seem to perform wonderfully, there are the occasions where the kernel falters. I haven't tested all the kernels out there, I chose the most reputable and productive performance based kernels.

If anyone would like me to test something out for you please let me know. My EVO 4G seems to hold strong when I push the limits of it, I have no problem testing something out to get numbers if your curious before you test it out yourself. I can save you the time of flashing and reflashing.

Battery performs regularly. The best way to improve battery life is to simply set your profiles and underclock when charging, low battery, screen off, etc.

I'm going to contact setCPU dev team and request some new profiles. I'll be in touch. Check back for updates.

on which kernel? i can get roughly a days worth with moderate use. The frequency is usually between 3.700-4.007V and the temp stays under 102 degrees. thats clocked at either 1190 or 1228 with a min of 245

after talking with vaelek we agreed that having the minimun set to 128 isn't good, especially for screen off.

So my daily is 1228/245 and i can get anywhere between 6 hours, 8 hours, or 10 hours of use.

I guess with heavy use the average time would be 4-6 hours, then it would need a charge for about an hour and hold the rest of the day
