key vibe wont turn off

Can anyone tell me how to get the vibe on my keypad to turn off? The only thing I've found are the "audible feedback" and "vibrate feedback" selections on the settings menu. Both of which are unchecked.

Standard keyboard.

I have the stock gingerbread keyboard and I unchecked vibrate on keypress and that did it for me

If you are talking about the hardware keys(home, back, menu, search) then the option is in the sound settings.

If it's still the keyboard keys, in the language and keyboard settings there should be a touch input sub setting that you can enter with the option to disable vibration.
