Keyboard as trackpad - hardware or software for Pixel 2

Hey, All,

The only feature I can see myself missing coming from Apple, is the 3D press on the keyboard to activate a trackpad that allows me to move the cursor in any direction around the text (like a mouse) as well as press again to highlight, copy, paste, etc...

Is there anything specific to the Pixel line that compares to this, or is it strictly software-related?

Gboard spacebar swipe can go left and right. I keep triggering the long press / change keyboard action which is annoying, wish that could be disabled.

Sideload the BlackBerry keyboard. It has a tab to invoke arrows for cursor navigation. You can also set up the '?123' button to act as a CTRL key so you can quickly do CTRL-C, -X, -V, and -A commands. Words can quickly be deleted one-by-one by swiping left across the keyboard.
