On my S21 Ultra I had to enable a setting that would allow the keyboard to automatically pop-up when I would swipe up from the home screen to search. It was a year ago and I can't recall where that setting is. Its driving me crazy on my S22 Ultra. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Don't recall you could make the keyboard pop up but you could make a browser or none in setting >apps>default apps >assistant Screenshot_20220226-182404_Settings.jpgScreenshot_20220226-182342_Permission%20controller.jpg

I tried to post but dint think it went through withba reddit link. So im trying this imgur link and hopefully it works.

This is what I'm attempting to do when i talk about swiping up on the home screen. Thats good info though so I can disable bixby.

If you want to avoid Bixby you can change what side key does in advanced features.

Thanks for your reply. I did have the side key disabled and with the other post from mustang I can diable it on the heavy swipe up. I just cant for the life of me figure out how to set it up like in the links I posted above. My 21 had the function and I thought surely the 22 would.
