Keyboard backlight is dim

The keyboard backlight on my wife's Pro is dim on a lot of the keys. I was wondering if this is a common occurrence.

i have this same problem, I am assuming that the backlight is going out? I dont know though. I have been looking around about how to replace it.

I can't say if it is common, but mine is brighter around the W and O keys, and dimmer on the rest. I'm probably taking mine back in to get replaced because of wifi problems though.
