Ok so recently I found an S8 keyboard cover floating around on eBay for cheap so I jumped on it.
Then, I jumped on an S8 from eBay to use with the case.
Yes, I bought the phone because I had the case and not the other way around lol.
You probably guessed it, the only reason I'm remotely interested in the S8 is because of the keyboard cover.
Anyway, the case and the phone get here, I slap it on, I get the first time prompt that tells you how to use certain shortcuts etc, and I open up something to try it out and...
... half of the keys don't work, and those who do, they input the wrong alphabet letter. Pressing Q inputs a W etc...
The S8 I got is the G950FD version, which is the dual sim.
When I first booted it up, the language was Vietnamese so I guess that's where it came from originally.
So I contacted the seller of the case, he told me it worked just fine on his US model S8, and that after the Pie update he had similar issues as me but a factory reset fixed it.
I tried factory resetting but did no good, same exact issue.
So now I plan on returning the S8 to the seller and finding another one locally to try the case on it first before buying.
TLDR: Have any of you had experience with this keyboard case, particularly after the update to Pie ?
