Keyboard disappearing?

Just trying to see if anyone has had this happen. Doesn't happen to me but two of my co-workers had mentioned it happening. They bring up there txt app and when they tap the txt field which would bring up the kbd, the screen adjusts for it to show but where the kbd would be, its just blank and they've said they have to reboot the phone to get it to come back.

Any thoughts?

When I first use the phone after a reboot and try to type something it takes about 30 to 45 seconds for the keyboard to appear, but after that it is fine. Not exactly the same, but maybe they need to give it some time to come up?
