Keyboard has no microphone icon? How do I get it?

When I check on google it says I should have a setting called google voice typing in my language and input setting but there is no there to activate so I can talk to message instead to typing...how do I get it?

Welcome to the forums.
Try settings>language and input> then click checkbox next to Google voice typing.

None of the above solutions work ... here is the simple fix

Just hold down the settings icon on the keyboard, then it turns into the microphone icon.

Thanks Richard, I couldn't believe Samsung would have deleted such a vital item. I use it on almost every text
