keyboard issues post AT&T may update

I have been having a lot of keyboard issues since the update, forced me to reboot 4 times this weekend alone since the update. Haven't found a other way to resolve them. Using the stock LG keyboard, yeah I know I could install a different one but still shouldn't be necessary.

The keyboard stops responding. I hit the keys, get haptic feedback, even see the word suggestions for what I typed... But nothing shows up in whatever app I am typing in.

Have you tried clearing cache and data for the keyboard?

+1. First thing to try as usual. If it doesnt help, a factory reset. Although i'd avoid the factory reset and go for another keyboard. The phone has enough RAM to handle swiftkey, swype, google, etc. quite smoothly
