keyboard issues

My Galaxy note 3 won't let my input any passwords into different applications on my phone. I can type just fine with the user name but for some reason I can't input my passwords. I've uninstalled the apps and reinstalled and it's the same thing every time. I've tried to instal a different keyboard and it does the same thing every time. I've also gone into the settings for the keyboard and cleared the cache...I'm so lost and confused! Please help!!

Are you trying to "swipe" your passwords? If so it won't work...u have to type/tap in your passwords...with Swype you can do it but not with the Samsung keyboard
