keyboard issues

I am not able to add words to the dictionary like i used to and also swype doesn't work anymore on the regular keyboard! Any thoughts suggestions??

Go to Settings>Language & Input, tap the gear icon next to the keyboard you're using, and adjust the swipe settings there. Not sure about the dictionary issue, though.
