keyboard keeps popping up on facebook

I'm currently using the Gboard keyboard. When clicking on a post on Facebook my keyboard always pops up when I just go to look at comments. In which app or settings can I disable it. It use to only pop up when I went to comment. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+. Thanks!

Me too. Its super annoying. I changed keyboard back to regular one and that one pops up too. It has to be a fb/samsung issue. Why is hardly anyone complaining about it? S8.

Same here. It started a few weeks ago after a FB app update. I let them know and got a canned "thanks for letting us know we passed it along to our developers" message back. Still doing it and it's so freakin' annoying!

I got a FB app update this morning!

Didn't fix it. Still pops....up....every time I go near comments on a post.

I had the same problem until I went to facebook from my browser https://m.facebook.com on my S8. No more pop up keyboard when I am just looking at comments. And it pops up when I need it.

I would think it's the App and Keyboard App combo that's causing the issue. Going into a web browser is different. I'm still having the issue!

I'm having the same issue after the FB recent update on a Huawei Mate 10. Very frustrating!

Just uninstalled and reinstalled FB and that seems to have fixed the issue
