keyboard problem

ok has anyone seen this yet.
today I tried to type something into my phone and the keyboard showed what I was typing, but only 1 letter at a time and nothing typeed on the phone but the keyboard was vibrating and everything...

Sounds like a simple bug... Next time, just hold the text field, change the input method to [the other keyboard you're not using], and then switch it back using the same exact steps as above.

This is the quick fix that usually worked on my Evo 4G when I had the same issue...

If it the problem persists, there might be some deeper issue that is beyond me...
