Keyboard Problems

So I'm having problems with my keyboard, every time I use my keyboard it's all funky. It looks perfectly fine (keys are all in place) and works regularly in landscape mode but when I'm in portrait mode say I would go to click s it would type z or I would click the x (or backspace) and it would put a space. It seems to happen everywhere except for when I'm using google. Somebody please help me this is very annoying.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which keyboard app are you using? Have you tried 3rd party keyboards, like SwiftKey? Does this persist after a reboot?
