Keyboard question.

Is there a way to add in an "enter" button in the hangouts texting app. I have it now in this app but once I go to text the "enter" icon that jumps down a line disappears. I'm using the stock material design keyboard. Not a big deal but I'd like to have the use of it in the hangouts app.
