keyboard selection after unlock annoyance

Wife has a S6 Edge and after she unlocks (she uses fingerprint) it asks what keyboard to use. She can just escape out of it, but it drives. her crazy. How does she do I the phone from asking which keyboard she wants to use? Thanks!

Someone recently reported a similar keyboard problem which turned out to be that his preferred keyboard was a free demo which automatically reset itself after every power cycle. Once he paid for it, the problem disappeared.

Thanks. She is using Google keyboard and the only other installed one is Samsung's.

Have you tried setting the other keyboard as default?

Not yet, but she does prefer the Google (current) keyboard.
