Keyboard slow on galaxy s7 edge

[AC Question]

The keyboard comes up instantly, no slag when typing, but sometimes takes 10 seconds to go after typing on messenger, Snapchat etc , I know the phone us powerful enough to run this 100% perfectly so does anyone know how to fix this?

I know a while back Swiftkey had an issue which you described, and i had it happen to me as well last night.

Just downloaded 7.0 and my keyboards are just as quick if not quicker.

It actually seems to have got slower recently with 7.0 which is annoying for me

Can u explain to me why I would need to put it in safe mode?

Safe mode will stop all other non stock apps from running when you start. This will eliminate the possibility if a downloaded app is interfering with the keyboard.

Thanks that helps, I've found it seems to be coming from Facebook messenger, I've contacted them.
