Keyboard split in two parts...

I was sending a text the other day and somehow, some way, I pushed a button somewhere and now my pop up keyboard is in two sections, something like those ergonomic PC keyboards that came out a few years back ( I hated those too). What do I need to do to get my popup keyboard back to one piece?

Just touch both parts on the same time and try to move the the half keyboards towards each other
