Keyboard sticks on screen

I am having issues with my keyboard getting stuck on my screen after I finish tpying what I need and navigate to another app. The keyboard is not removing itself simoultaneously with the app. but takes maybe a second to remove itself.

Anyway in the same boat?

What keyboard are you using? Stock or a third party one?

I had the same issue with both the Droid multi touch & Better Keyboard. I started using Swype and haven't had any issues at all.

If its the stock keyboard, some people running 2.2, myself included, are having problems with it lagging. As already stated, try switching keyboards. I had Swype installed but wanted to try the stock keyboard when I got my Evo. Fail. Switched back to Swype. Problems went away.

I haven't had an issue with the keyboard sticking, but I have had an issue with a black and sometimes white box appearing at the top of the keyboard when typing in a text field on a website. The keyboard also lags when I use vibrated when typing. I like the haptic feedback, but can't use it because if the lag. Anyone else have these issues?
