Kickstand Sensitivity

If you have your hand on the back of the phone and by accident touch around where the kickstand is "glued" (for lack of a better term) to the phone, the menu pops up (and the phone slightly vibrates) as if you've taken out the kickstand. It's a minor annoyance, but I was just wondering if this happens to everyone else too. It seems like this, along with the position of the charger, are two minor things that are pretty annoying about the phone. I love it, but I'm just sayin'.

I've only had my photon for a little more than a week but I've never had that happen.

Hmm. Odd. How about this...my phone was at 80% charge, I left it for 10 minutes, I came back and it was off. Plugged it in and now it's saying it's only at 5%...

could you turn the phone back on by pressing the power button? sounds like it could be the sleep of death

Yeah, I checked that thread and my problem is similar but different. It came back on...but just showed the battery at 5, then 10%. I turned it off and on again and it went back to the normal screen, tho the battery was still at 10%. Weird. Just hope it doesn't happen again.

I've had two photons, since I returned the first one sure to the "no sound" problem. (as I feared, it didn't do any good, but that seemed like the best way to pressure motorola to fix the problem).

The second one, but not the first, has the problem you describe with an overly sensitive kickstand. So I kinda regret the trade. I found it annoying enough that I turned off the kickstand. (There's a setting somewhere. It wasn't too hard to find.)

I use it in portrait mode almost all the time, and have yet to want to use the kickstand, so this had solved the problem for me.
