Hi I'm new here so sorry if this as been answered.

I see Samsung Kies does not work for the nexus. Is there any windows program out that works like iTunes/Kies for the nexus?

Thanks.

By the way I think the cam is fine on the nexus. :) took this with my phone today.

Bez.

Sansung Kies works with Samsung branded phone.

Galaxy nexus is Google branded phone and runs pure Android so it wont work with kies.

what are you trying to do?

I just wanted an iTunes style program on my PC so I can sync music and stuff like that. Thanks for the reply.

If you want to get your tunes out of itunes and onto your GN you can try DoubleTwist, its free. It also can do wireless syncing.Or you can send all your tunes up to Google Play music Manager and have them in the cloud, also free. It might take a day if you have a lot of music.

For syncing music, if you wanna do that kinda thing, I like to suggest Google Music. For people who can't use Google Music, I recommend DoubleTwist as well. They even have a WiFi Sync option which is nice.

Thanks Andrew. I'm downloading it just now. :)

Just a quick update. I have double twist installed but it side I could not use USB sync for it. I wanted the wifi option anyway so paid for it. Its fantastic. Only issue is some music tracks cannot sync due to iTunes DRM. Apple! Must be revenge for switching to Android :) but thanks for the great advice.

Bez if you do want to sync via USB, try going in Settings/Developer options/USB debugging/ Allow(Hit OK). Turn it back off when you are done synching, moving pics or whatever.

Eventually you might run short of room on your storage and want to offload movies and pics.

OK I will remember that. I could not do it at first so paid for the wifi option on the app. But to be honest wifi would be better anyway. It is just that easy to use. And I like it a lot so always happy to pay for something that is good.

dont worry the $5 you paid for air sync is well worth it.
