A few days ago I got told I could do an update because my hard drive was too full.

I uninstalled what I could, I emptied my cache data, and I even went into my hard drive via my PC & USB to delete junk files.

Since then I have not been able to connect to the Internet. Not with WiFi, not with my data plan.

I'm guessing maybe I deleted some files I needed. Is there any way to restore these to get my Internet connectivity back?

Thanks for any clues.

Sounds like you may have deleted something important! When you say internet, are you referring to browsing using Chrome or another web browser, or do you mean you can't use any connected apps like Facebook, Instagram etc?

I don't think you can restore a ROM via LG Bridge (The LG PC to phone software), but I could be wrong. If you have all of your important data backed up to either your PC or a cloud drive it might be quicker and easier to just do a full factory reset.

I did a factory reset.

I got my Internet from my carrier back, but couldn't get my WiFi from one particular place working again. I'm going to try WiFi elsewhere to see if it is just them.

Interestingly, my carrier sent me complicated steps to do a reset that involved rotating the battery, then pushing all the buttons at the same time to get to the reset option. The reset option was easily accessible through the system menu
